Conax VOD and pushVOD solutions
|
Video on Demand (VOD) is one of the end-user services that are part of the launch plans of many television operators today. As a conditional access provider, Conax focuses on security. A VOD solution is complex and involves several providers. Consequently, Conax provides security components for VOD solutions only, and cooperates with other companies for delivery of complete Video on Demand solutions. For more information:

Conax in the media
|
Conax's partnerships with companies that are experts within its specific field of the Pay TV operation, results in products of high security, offering freedom to choose among the best solutions for digital-TV broadcasting.
In large markets where the redistribution of analog content is a severe problem, Conax’s customers will now be able to trace the source of the illegal distribution in a cost-effective way through Conax’s partnership with the watermarking technology companies Cinea and Thomson.
On the VOD side, Conax has made joint development efforts of non-security related products and testing of CA implementation in Set-Top-Boxes with IMPEQ Technologies and Simac Broadcast.
