Morten Solbakken

President/CEO

Morten Solbakken has broad experience from management, strategy/business development and sales, including 12 years of experience within the satellite sector and 5 years from the TV distribution business. Solbakken has extensive international experience working with global satellite operators representing Telenor's ownership interests in their boards. From 2007 to 2011, he was Chief Strategy Officer in Telenor Broadcast Holding AS (owner of Canal Digital, Telenor Satellite Broadcasting, Norkring and Conax). In March, 2011, Solbakken was appointed COO at Telenor Broadcast Holding, and Chairman of the Boards of Conax, Telenor Satellite Broadcasting and Norkring. Solbakken holds a Master of Science from NTH in Norway, with additional Master of Management and Master of Business Administration courses. Morten Solbakken joined Conax as acting CEO in September 2011 and was made CEO from December 2011.

Tom Jahr

EVP Products & Partners

Bringing 16 years of top management experience in international IT and media companies, Tom Jahr was recruited from GET TV, a leading Norwegian triple-play (cable-tv, broadband, telephony) company, where he held the role of Product Director, driving development of next generation services such as PVR, VOD, WEB-TV and IPTV. An engineer by trade, Tom studied Telecom Engineering before moving into roles within the DVB/IPTV space. He loves combining his technical background with his commercial skill set, combined with the strategic side of his role. Tom enjoys evangelizing, educating and inspiring.

Erik Tordhol

EVP Sales & Marketing

Mr. Tordhol joined Conax in November 1997 as Area Sales Manager responsible for the Nordic countries and northern Europe. During his career in Conax Mr. Tordhol has held different key positions within sales both in Europe and SE Asia. He was appointed Director of Sales Europe, in January 2008. In September 2009 he was appointed VP Sales/Head of direct Sales. Mr. Tordhol has 20 years of experience in domestic and international business to business sales of advanced technical solutions in the industrial automation business and pay TV markets. Mr. Tordhol holds a degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering.

Øistein Westgaard

EVP, Operations

Mr. Westgaard joined Conax in 2001 as head of Payment Systems Solutions and has served as Director Operations since 2004. He is also a board member of Conax India. Before joining Conax, Mr. Westgaard held senior positions at Telenor Business Solutions and served as Marketing Director of Telenor Pos AS. He has experience from senior positions in Tandem Computers, Union Bank of Norway, Ford Motor Company Norway and the Norwegian Directorate of Management and Administration before joining Telenor. He holds a B.Sc in Information Technology from Agder University College.

Siw Merethe Veseth

EVP/CFO

Siw Merethe Veseth holds a Bachelor of Management from the BI Norwegian School of Management, a Master of Science in Energy Management with sub-specialization Environmental Management from the BI Norwegian School of Management and a Master of Management from the BI Norwegian School of Management. Her previous work experience includes several senior positions, most recent being five years as CFO in Hydro IS Partner (Norsk Hydro ASA) and two years as Vice President Finance and Accounting in EDB Business Partner ASA. She has also held several board positions for both Hydro IS Partner and EDB Business Partner ASA. She joined Conax as CFO in August 2010.
