ISP

Short for Internet Service Provider.

IVR

Short for Interactive Voice Response. IVR is a "self-service" interface that allows callers to enter and retrieve information over the phone, without having to talk to a live agent. IVR provides a "voice" for your data so that callers can interact with business critical data in various enterprise databases, allowing them to enter and retrieve information, all without agent information.

IRD

Short for Integrated Receiver Decoder. Used interchangeably with STB.

Standards for smart cards.

IPSEC

Standard for IP Security, RFC 2401. A TCP/IP layer encryption scheme.
