Conax purchases Secustream Technologies

Conax AS, a daughter company of Telenor ASA that delivers security solutions to providers of digital-TV, has entered a contract to purchase 100% of Secustream Technologies AS (www.secustream.com). Secustream delivers anti-pirate software solutions for all former of interactive TV, including IPTV, PC-TV and web-TV.

April 11th, 2008: Ernst Thue today announced his resignation as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in Conax. The Conax board will immediately start the process of finding his replacement. Terje Storhaug, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in Broadcast, will function as acting CEO until a permanent replacement is appointed.
