Security provider Conax appoints new head Asia Pacific operations

Mr. van Aalst held several technical and management positions at Phillips and later joined Irdeto as CTO. He has held technical and business development consultancy jobs around the globe within all areas in the field of digital TV. Mr. van Aalst has recently relocated to China after heading International Product Marketing at Conax main headquarters in Norway.

“Mr. van Aalst possesses extensive experience within the development of DTT markets. In addition to developing the existing Chinese market, he will apply his wide experience within DTT operations towards the growing opportunities in South East Asia, where DTT is currently on the drawing board,” said Berit Svendsen. He will also lead Conax regional offices in Singapore and Seoul.
