"Orient Express" to introduce Conax conditional access system
Moscow, April 14th, 2011: Orion Express satellite television provider has entered into agreement with Conax – a leading global provider of content security solutions – to use Conax security on the “Orient Express” DTH platform.

“Orient Express” package (140?E) will be delivered to the population of Siberia and Far East in MPEG-2 and encrypted with Conax, in addition to Irdeto CAS currently in use.

Implementing Conax security significantly extends the list of compatible set-top-boxes that subscribers can use for “Orient Express”. Conax’ main advantage is a wide range of equipment that is available in various price segments.

The device has all key features: support of EPG in Russian language, text messages and SMS, software update via OTA and others.

Price for “Orient Express” full pack, including a set top box and a smart card (Conax) with 1 month subscription, starts from RUR 1900 (USD ) only.
