What products will the company showcase in CES 2017?

At the the event we are sharing a stand with Nagra. Many of our customers in the region have come to CES, however we are not presenting specific products – we’ve come to the convention to expand our network.

How have the new consumer trends changed Conax business?
Content consumption patterns have changed. Conax and all industry players have been affected by this phenomenon and are adapting and offering services to satisfy these new habits. Everyone will look to move to OTT platforms where, in addition, there will be a migration towards IP. In the next five years there will be more and more IP available. In Latin America, large broadcasters, such as Globo or Televisa, will move their content to IP.

How is the industry preparing for a full IP environment?
The industry is preparing and numerous initiatives have already been started, such as tests and alliances within the industry. A large number of firms are investing time and money and are aiming to develop a common standardized platform. In the coming years, streaming technologies will also become more standardized.
