The new satellite solution “direct2home” is aimed at broadcasting companies as well as telecommunication operators, also widening Telekom Austria Group’s reach to add new business. Via this service broadcasters can deliver their content to new markets. Furthermore, it enables telecommunication operators to enter the Pay TV business without investing in infrastructure. The first Telco to deploy the new platform with Conax content security will be Telekom Austria Group’s subsidiary Vipnet based in Croatia. Vipnet will offer a new bouquet of DTH services alongside their CATV, IPTV and OTT business.

The Conax Contego™ Plus content security solution will enable B2B clients in the Telekom Austria Group and other broadcasting companies and telecommunication operators in the CEE to secure additional new content revenue streams.
